Message from the Principal

Uttar Banga Maheshwari College has established a significant presence in the hearts of many within this region, and I feel honoured to be part of this remarkable institution. At this point, I sincerely express my gratitude for the contributions of my visionary predecessors, dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and the team members who have worked relentlessly and selflessly to create this outstanding institution.

We are currently in a rapidly evolving era where cutting-edge technologies are transforming our lives almost daily. With the pandemic impacting the globe, we have been compelled to unlearn and relearn various aspects of our existence. Education worldwide has gained new dimensions and significance due to the evolution of teaching methods and academic delivery.

I strongly assert that quality education has no replacement and can only be provided in a positive environment with proper resources under the proficient guidance of capable mentors. For a student, a teacher is invariably a ROLE MODEL. A student's life can be transformed by their knowledge and wisdom. At our institution, we consistently strive to bring out the best in each student to develop a responsible citizen and exceptional professional. The university enforces strict policies on attendance and student behaviour to ensure that each graduate from this institution emerges as a leader on a national or global scale.

We believe that education is not about mere imparting knowledge but more about opening the student’s mind to self-expression and our dedicated team of teachers, administrative staff, aware and cooperative parents, and a management imbued with great vision, form a unified team to give the student the required edge to make his/her mark in this global world. It is our aim to help all students achieve a level of excellence in their chosen field.

Together we, parents and college, will have to move along to transform the young ones into a potential source of knowledge, energy, strength, and a catalytic force to metamorphose the social fabric to complement our college motto, ‘Arise, Awake And Stop Not Till The Goal Is Achieved’.
